Last weekend, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk turned into a horrifying circus of terror when killer clowns from Ocean Boulevard unleashed their ghastly reign of terror during Boardwalk Fright Nights! Witnesses reported that the once-sunny, family-friendly boardwalk was suddenly overrun by a gang of grotesque, grease-painted ghouls, wielding balloon animals twisted into sinister shapes and brandishing cotton candy clouds of doom!
The clowns, dressed in neon-striped jumpsuits and pancake makeup caked like a death mask, descended on unsuspecting visitors with their wild cackles and unholy honking horns. One witness described the scene as "pure nightmare fuel," as these maniacal harlequins terrorized the crowd, making even the bravest beachgoers flee for the hills—or rather, the nearest ice cream stand.
But even in the face of such ghastly terror, the show must go on! And that’s exactly what happened when Cassette Rewind Ultimate 80s Experience, the wildly popular retro band, kept the beat alive. Hailing from the heart of synthwave revival, Cassette Rewind electrifies crowds with their perfect renditions 80s new wave hits. Their righteous riffs transported the boardwalk crowd back to the gnarly days of parachute pants and boomboxes.
Despite the clown chaos, Cassette Rewind never missed a beat. Hailing from the neon-glow outskirts of Carlotte, NC, this 80s tribute band isn't just a show—they're a time warp on stage and your pal, Retro was there to catch all the action!
But be warned! If you think the killer clowns have packed up their circus and rolled out of town, you’d be dead wrong! Next weekend marks the final Fright Nights, before Halloween, so you’ll have one last chance to see them at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk this upcoming 25th and 26th as well as SCARY Sundays!
Don’t miss out—Boardwalk Fright Nights wraps up next weekend, and this is your final chance to witness the horror in all its bloodcurdling glory!
And come prepared… if you dare!
